Greetings from Bill's Siblings

Hi Uncle Michael,
I've just uploaded the wedding speeches for Bill's wedding because Mum and Dad asked if they had been taken.
Can you please upload this?
My latest and greatest iMovie is now available on YouTube.

Sunshine greets Bill and Mindy on their 'Big Day'

Mindy keeps Bill pacing for 30 minutes but then arrives at the church in style in Dieb Khoury's vintage car. She makes a beautiful entrance to St Canice's on his arm.

Bill is a tad overcome.

The 'Big Day' is a reality.

Double click on the slideshow below and you can view the Picasa photo album on full screen.

Wait for the last picture will buffer and you can see the viseo of Mindy 'walking down the aisle' to take Bill's hand.

Other video clips of the happy day appear further down in the blog.

Please click on each of the following clips to view the videos. They will also open into full screen for better viewing. More clips of Bill's excellent speech at the Reception will be added later.

Mindy is a beautiful bride as she enters the church to Pachelbel's 'Canon in D' played by Pascal Herington on violin and Jassen Rose on the organ.

Pascal sings the Psalm "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad"

Bill's godfather, Uncle Ray Musgrave, who was also married to Jean in St Canice's 62 years ago, presents the gifts with cousin Jennifer before the Offertory of the Mass.

Pascal Herington sings 'Panis Angelicus' during Communion

Schubert's 'Ave Maria' is sung during the Signing of the Register as requested by Bill

The happy couple leave the church after the Ceremony to Mendelssohn's "Wedding March".

SPEECHES AT THE WEDDING RECEPTION

Speaking at a Wedding Reception can be harrowing for some, but Bill performed very well.

In time, you can see all the clips. Here are the first comments from the newly married Bill.

Mindy and Bill choose the Readings from the Bible for their Wedding Day

Ruth 1:16-17
'Where You Go I will Go'

But Ruth said,
"Entreat me not to leave you or to return from following you;
for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge;
your people shall be my people, and your God my God;
where you die I will die, and there will I be buried.
May the LORD do so to me and more also if even death parts me from you."

SONG OF SONGS 2:8-10, 14, 16a; 8:6-7a

For love is as strong as death.
I hear my Beloved. Hark! my lover–here he comes
springing across the mountains,
leaping across the hills.
My lover is like a gazelle
or a young stag.
Here he stands behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
peering through the lattices.
My lover speaks; he says to me,
“Arise, my beloved, my dove, my beautiful one, and come!

“O my dove in the clefts of the rock,
in the secret recesses of the cliff,
Let me see you,
let me hear your voice,
For your voice is sweet,
and you are lovely.”

My lover belongs to me and I to him.

The gazelle leaps six chapters and delivers to his bride a serious charge, setting aside the playful infatuation:

He says to me:

“Set me as a seal on your heart,
as a seal on your arm;
For stern as death is love,
relentless as the nether world is devotion;
its flames are a blazing fire.
Deep waters cannot quench love,
nor floods sweep it away.

ON A LIGHTER SIDE!

I have pictures of Bill and the Musgrave families on my computer which I share with Mindy today. Jonathan, you are not featured. It's obviously time you and Birgitte came and paid me a visit - and to meet your new sister-in-law.

Bill may take over this blog and then more pictures from your collections can be added to serve as a memento of this important time in Bill and Mindy's lives.
